Gauges are pretty much only for monitoring vitals these days. With all the logging software out now, you'll never see a tuner looking at an EGT gauge.
The only gauge you really need is boost, and WB I guess. If you have a WB setup, you might as well have some sort of display...

Logging is great but don't get the idea that EGT is not necessary. A lot of tuners increase boost, and keep timing at a minimum; eg. drag race. This is not good for the street and EGTs will tell you if you have too little timing or to get out of boost.

The AEM EMS. I have a few buddies even with defi gauges that said over 24 psi they were getting inaccurate..

But if i had to go with gauges. I would rock the racer blue defi's

Not auto meters or greddys or prosports

Defi Racer Blue FTW. They're more expensive than others, but in this case I think you get what you pay for. As far as wideband AF/R goes, AEM is considered by most to be the standard. I'll probably go with the Zeitronix as it almost matches the blue lighting of my Defi units.

if you have the money to spend go defi. I would love to go defi but I myself am using stewart warner. Ive heard really good stuff on this site about their products (cheap and accurate) Mine is still accurate and loving it. good luck with your gauges but definitely go boost gauge and wideband first.

Stewart Warner has been around for many years and was, and still is, regarded as one of the best.

Defi looks great but make sure you have the money for the maintenance to replace sensors. I have had a couple sensors go out.

OT, but gauge related

I expect delivery of used Tomei boost & wideband within a week.....Im also wondering whats the consensus on these.........

Seem they were more Nissan based.........Will post pics when received and a review, plan to compare the boost with autometer and AF with innovate....
