axle problem
my terminology might be off so bare with me. this is on a friends 2003 evo 8.
the axle from the front passenger wheel to the tranfer case. pops out some and and leaks tranfercase fluid. the car still drives. but we poped it back in put new fluid in the TC and he drove it. he called me up this morning and said it poped out again.
what would cause this? is it easy to fix (we perfer to fix this ourselves if we can find out whats wrong) is this a seal? bad transfer case? the axle not locked in properly?
