Infant Seat in Evo?

Infant Seat in Evo?
Hey guys. I am looking to get an Evo and was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their Evos with rear facing infant seats installed. I'm trying to convince my wife that the Evo is big enough to fit one in the back without a problem.
Also, do you guys put the rear facing infant seats in the middle or behind the front passenger?

I use to put the rear facing seat in the middle and now the recaro is also in the middle. I have pics of the recaro but not the rear facing.Trust me there is plenty of room and the kids love the evo.... the sound and vibration of the exhaust puts them to sleep. It's like one of them vibrating infant chairs lol

I put ours in the middle utilizing the anchors. PLEASE do NOT place your child on either side of the car. The Evo already has **** side impact ratings. Keep the infant in the middle rear facing...

i have a recaro como seat that sits in the middle of the backseat, rear facing it sits up high.front facing its fine.the recaro seat is huge looking when you first stick it in the evo.adults can barely fit in the backseat with the carseat back there.

Yeah, that's the only thing that worries me about the evo, the side crash rating is not that great. And that is why I want to put them in the middle as well.

Child seats have side impact features built in to the car seats. The problem I see with putting in the middle, is if the car seat belt slips off the shoulders in a front end inpact, your child could go flying in to the windshield. My wife and I asked this question to a CHP officer and was told behind the seat was the best chance for survival. The percentage of front inpact, compared to side impact, was greater. You have to decide what you think is better for your child, not what others suggest on a forum, or ask your local Highway Patrol.
