If he says otherwise, ask him to prove what he is saying by providing actual documentation of his own. Otherwise, it's just hearsay.

too bad i dont have a scanner... i just read my window sticker for my evoix se. it clearly says that ALL parts originated 100% in Japan. Final Assembly in Japan. its probably the only mitsu in the lineup that is...

this is a persistent rumor, I've also been told that USDM Evo 8/9 with 6sp have the transmission build in the US, whereas JDM/EDM have a Japanese transmission. I have no clue if it's true or not though ...
