Here's the question, what do YOU want to spend YOUR money on? I find it alot easier to pay a payment, when it's for something you really enjoy. Good luck.
Now with that said, Just get the Evo, cuz you know you want it!

IMO if you buy a "truck" then to me a truck is a pick up which is lame. If you buy a truck make it an SUV at the least, like a escalade, or a range rover or cayenne.
What got me to buy the Evo you ask. Simple and short, I used to have a bunch of imports, sold em all, got a Benz thought it was cool, then drove the Evo and fell in love with it and Never once do I regret it..... well maybe just this morning taking apart the front end to fix my blown ICP... besides that everything has been gravy!
Go evo dont listen to the old man

The practicality of having a 4 door car(room, people, stuff, to bring around, etc...), styling, and that it's part of something nice to have(community, respect, etc...). I found it as a blend of maturity and the feeling of being young at the same time as a lot of the drivers aren't around the archetypical teenage mentality, but it still leaves you the adrenaline rush of that turbo.

I got the Evo because...
we're talking about fun... with a capital "E"

I just sold my Tundra to my dad, to help pay for my evo. And as sad as you may be about getting a tacoma over an evo, I'll let you know that's probably the only other vehicle i'd get. Toyota trucks are above and beyond in quality my friend. If you can't get an evo you're getting the next best thing.
