But why evo!

My dad keeps coming up to me and telling me that i should get a tacoma instead of an evo 9. I have my reasons for not wanting to get a truck.... 4 doors, gas milage, awd, turbo, not a truck... yeah
BUT what were YOUR reasons for getting an evo over another car? TIA!!
pic for your click (this car is SO nice imo)

unparalled quickness and handling for the money (do people compare stis with porshe and other really expensive cars? nop), reliable 4g63 ftw if modding is done right, easy to mod parts are cheap and bolt ons are really easy to put on the car, all around car (circuit, autocrox, drag, groceries), excellent backup for ? evolutionm.net ftw too, all weather(drive it through snow mud dirt gravel) these are just to name a few I really like this car

My dad told me to buy a truck when I drove a old 2002 BMW. I resisted for many years and have untold memories of great times and crazy fast drives! Now I drive a Ford van in bumper to bumper traffic. GET THE EVO!!! The van looks good towing my EVO!

My household has both an '06 Evo IX SE and an '05 Tacoma PreRunner Off-Road 2WD. Unless you anticipate frequently carrying big loads of stuff too large for a standard trunk or if you live in places that will require a vehicle with a high ground clearance, there isn't a huge reason to go with the Tacoma, unless you want to fit into the truck crowd.

Here's what I think he sees in the truck vs the Evo.

Truck: Hauling stuff, going over pot holes, less in insurance, safe and it's a Toyota.
Evo: Insurance killer (depends on age and driving records), attention getter (unwanted people and police), you can't put your sofa on the back of your trunk

Here's the question:

Do you want to haul stuff, or do you want to haul ***?

Man its easy if you aint got **** to haul get the evo! I got the evo cause i heard about it. Had a old dsm modded, and figured wth I don't need a honda element. I need something fast and reliable. So in 2003 I took a hit on the Element and got a evo, and been sooooooooooooooo happy ever since!
