That may be true but it doesn't mean it will hold a charge for as long as say a group 51 style battery. CCA doesn't mean jack if your mini battery won't hold a useable charge for more then a few days. No potential, no start.

The wife has been running a Braille 11.5 lb. in her Turbo S Beetle for over a year now without any issue. Her remote for her alarm died in that time but the Braille battery is still kicking. I just ordered the same battery for the Evo last week. The wife just went on a 6 week residency about 400 miles away and I was confident in it.

You're using batteries that were designed for boats and atv's. So don't expect it to act like a car battery.

^ W/E I've had countless mini-batteries and they've always worked fine. Hell my Evo sits in the garage most of the time and starts right up, sometimes without driving it for weeks! My current PC1680 has lasted me almost three years with no issues.

I have an Odyssey PC680 that I initially had problems with until I bought a trickle charger that charges at .5 - 1 amps. My battery ran low a few weeks back and I had trouble getting it to hold a charge until I used the trickle charger, now it's good as new.

I hadn't started my car in about 2 weeks until this morning and it started up twice in a row.
