hks dli ignition..

does this system really work? and is it worth the money to buy?

Depending on how far youre going mod wise it works well. If youre sticking with the stock ecu which will limit you 550-600whp then this works well. If youre modding beyond that and will require an AEM unit then i would recommend an ignition similar to what Buschur sells.

thanks for the responce. so for basic bolt ons its good? or only good for big power using aem?

I have seen car run as much as 1000 hp with the hks dli so I would not say its limited to just 550-600

No, the stock ECU is limited to about 550-600. He said that if you are running an AEM EMS and are shooting for HIGH whp there it would benefit to have the HKS DLI.

all im asking is that if i put this ignition on my car the way it sits (tbe,drop in,fp,tune at 22-23 psi) will this help? i dont plan on running 500 600 hp ever.!!

really its not needed the way your car sits. it would be a waist of money for you.

my buddy is running nitrous and has break ups here and there when he runs it with high boost on race gas, would that be ignition breakup, and so this would help i'm assuming?

work good, unfortunately they are unreliable & tend to fail after about a year

Could be his ign. but have him check his plug gap as well. I run 30# of boost all day with a pt6776 with the stock ign and I have never had any problems. My plugs are gapped at 18.
