its always good to get rid of that basket weave piping from mitsubishi. You might not see any big gains but your car will be more efficient.

If you're going to take the time to do it, do it right. Get AMS or someone. Use T-bolts as well.

I'm considering a tune by AMS this summer since it's closer to me. Or maybe I'll do it while I'm in Madison this weekend because it'll be one hour away from Madtown.

if you get LICP make sure you get one that has the bracket.. that will reduce your pipe blowing off. i have nisei w/ bracket and have had no problems (used hairspray and wiped down any grease off of couplings/pipe).

What the fug are you talking about? great misinformation you "heard". Now all the noobs are going to spread this LICP's arent "about 1 foot shorter" if that was the case you couldnt even put the car back together.

Plus a billion, but more importantly make sure that your couplers are long enough the stockers are a little too short to get a good bite on the pipe. I blew off my LICP 3 times in a week just recently and solved it with longer couplers and T-Bolts. Definately do the T-Bolts if you are running higher than stock boost.

Also make sure you wipe down the ends of the pipes with alchol (not the drinking kind, ha ha)

Dyno tunes are about $300-500 around here. Do you have any other mods than what are mentioned in your sig?

T-bolts are on the way. Hopefully it'll be here by Sat so I can do the LICP on Sunday. I always wanted to go with brandname like HKS, JUN AMS and they recommend the Apex'i SAFC neo. I wonder if it's ok if I get the 2nd black version instead.

Here's my list of upcoming parts that'll be on order:
eBay 3" DP
eBay 3" HiFlow Cat-delete
eBay Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
Apex'i SAFC II or Neo
Swoosh boost gauge
Hallman MBC
AEM wideband A/F
AMS tuned....

As far as I know, that's it. When I bought the Evo, it already came with the Works exhaust. My first mod was the Injen intake. Because the LICP seem to be the same as the OEM, I decided not to put it on but after all the good comments, I made a little mod to the Injen LICP and will install it on Sunday if the T-bolt clamps is here by that time.

Never heard of Swoosh gauges, looked at 'em and they look pretty nice, post how they look in person when you get them and how accurate they are.

Also any particular reason why you are buying top notch parts and then eBaying the rest???? eBay Walbro??? Do you mean a Walbro you got off of eBay? MBC is a good choice, AEM wideband as well I am looking to get one myself. What do you mean "I always wanted to go with brandname like HKS, JUN AMS" ???
