There is fine print at the bottom or back of the letter. I has "points" i.e. they penalize you for every mile past a certain amount. There are several loopholes. Just throw it away. I got a letter similar and thought the same thing you did at first.

The more I see stuff like that the less it makes me want to go to a dealership.
The place I buy my cars from never sends me crap unless its a financing promotion sponsored by MMA.

Hey, I'm in Canada right now on business, but when I get back, I'll scan the letter. It does say at the bottom, $.10-.55 per mile taken off, but it is 100% of the MSRP NEW. I might take it in just to see how much I can get for it. Plus... They said additionally, after I trade in the vehicle, I can get up to $4.5k off of the new car.

I've gotten similar letters from Honda dealers looking to drum up business. It's an old ploy.
Just remember, you don't get something for nothing. It's just a way for the dealer to churn inventory, by which they make money and customers lose money.

I don't believe that s**t. I'd say if you like your car stay with it. I received a call from the Mitsubishi dealership where I got my car and they asked me if I'm interested in the new X. I said no thanks but I asked how much they go for and his response was $36K to $55K. What a hell....
