For future reference, APR makes an FRP evo IX front bumper with lip for around $500, http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...&cat=63&page=1

I looked into this awhile back. If you still have them, you can use most of your grills from your stock bumper.

Majority of the parts for an evo from the dealer are going to be expensive. Expensive car= expensive parts. Plus the front bumper on an evo has so many little plastic pieces and clips that you can't see from just looking at it on the car. Check this out http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...29&catalogid=2

I think there's a place that sells it and it comes with prepainted in the original color of your Evo. I believe all parts are intact. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Check what part numbers are what when ordering from mitsu. Find a copy of mitsuCAPS to look them up. Keep in mind that if it shows the bumper is p/n xxxx and the lip/mesh is p/n yyy then if you order xxx, you are not getting yyy even though it goes on xxx.

Oh yah I looked this one up too. It end up that it would cost around $2000 in parts to get everything for the Evo8 - Evo9 front cover. I THINK if you don't care about anything else the front cover SHOULD fit without the need of anything else. I spoke with a body tech but we aren't sure until we take the cover off and look at it.

But here it the diagram I looked up that SHOULD be the necessary parts, but there could be more.

Return that crap!

Go aftermarket, like the APR GT bumper.

That was the same price i paid, unless you get used theres no way to get it any cheaper, atleast stock for stock. Atleast you havent had to fork over $1600 for a headlight. Ive busted my passenger headlight twice!

i have to say Russell is a stand up guy and i'm sorry to hear that the bumper didnt come with all the pieces. I guess i would have the same reaction.
