Thank You...

On friday I was driving to go see my family in searcy, and about the same place where I was boxed in by three srt-4's 2 weeks ago. I was ran off the road by a semi truck. I went to pass the truck and i got to his back wheels and then he started to pass the truck in front of him, I had to swerve off into the median to avoid being hit. Here's the scary part, i slammed on my brakes so i didnt cross over the median into the oncoming traffic and when i did my back end swung around clockwise and i was backwards and went BACK across the interstate, BACKWARDS with cars coming right at me! i ended up off the road and in a ditch BACKWARDS and about 5 feet from going into a draining system that would have almost certainly flipped my car. I do know from the bottom of my heart that had i been in a rear wheel drive car, i would have kept spinning around and then been hit or flipped. THank you mitsubishi for designing such a safe awd system in the evo. I know it was God's way of letting me know he was still in control and that he has blessed me so much. The thing that made me really sick was that NOBODY stopped to help me! nobody called 911 or anything. People just drove by and looked. To those of you with families, please let them know how much you love them, I thought i was never going to see my mom and dad again and thats what scared me the most.

Here are a few pics from my iPhone, sry for the bad quality

Where I slid backwards across the median

Where I Stopped

damn trucks! I would just my turn signals to let them know I'm passing them. Using your flashers will make them mad and do this stunt on you. glad your safe. how was the evo though

Damn!

What saved you are the tires and brakes.. not the awd system... awd only plays a role when youre on the gas... Thats why you shouldnt go cheap on tires.. You cant have the best of the best when your contact to the road sucks.

Cheers!

A good rule of thumb when driving near those big semi trucks is - if you can't see their mirrors, they can't see you.

Glad to see you're okay, but how's the car?
