looks cool and useful. looks like it was designed somewhat like the F1 shiftlights.

No, you set the RPM for the first light to turn on, and then the RPM for the "flash" to occur... so lower and upper bounds.

For the demo video, I had it set to 1000 - 7000

For my own use, I will use 3000 - 7000, so if I'm completely out of the power band, there will be no lights

Looks annoying.....but im old fashion - i use the tach to know when to shift, dont need a light telling me otherwise.

Oh, but it's more!

Consider it a power-band indicator, so it can help with downshifts on road courses as well... just set the first light to 3000 or higher depending on your car

dont they use things almost exactly like that in WRC. i thought ppl would have had these along time ago

I liked the dual lights on the Defi VCD HUD better, but this is kinda cool. The lights look a little too bright to me though.
