The AMS Time Attack EVO VIII “TA1” is back and better than ever!
The car endured some serious dieting over the winter and let’s just say Jarred & Subway ain’t got nothing on us!
Justin and the rest of the dream team here at AMS have really pulled a number on the TA1 resulting in 100+ lbs of weight savings from an already light car. There are a lot of very innovative ideas being implemented on the car most of which cannot be shown, but here are some things I can show you:
Justin Wylde our Time Attack Team crew chief and fabrication manager working on the new dash...
the spaghetti and some other stuff we don't need in the car...
Master Tech Eric Jones- the man behind the spaghetti!
The prototype AMS Rear Trans Mount.
New lighter radiator support system....
Come out to see the AMS team compete at the upcoming Super Lap Battle event on April 19th during the Long Beach Grand Prix!
Thank you

Very sick indeed. I've watched the in car footage soo many times.
Pardon my noob question as I do not know the rules, but are you guys allowed to switch to different types of turbo's during the season? Obiously some of the smaller tracks with less straights could benefit more with a 30R right?
thanks

Nice work Guys, best off luck at the awesome Long Beach street course. We should start a pool on straight away speed. I'll start... 176mph (that's if Mark can convince Martin to turn up the boost and revs )
I can't wait to drive it
