Keep looking around, they are out there. I would go for an Evo over the other two. Don't waste your time looking at bloated Cavaliers I mean GTO's. They are too heavy, don't handle very well and really aren't that fast. I respect the supercharged Cobras although I've toasted my fair share of them with much higher horsepower simply because they can't hook up. The only bad thing about them is that the rearend eventually explodes when you make too much power and they have a tendency to blow out sparkplugs which usually ruins the heads. If you are leaving it pretty much stock then I would go with the Evo or the Cobra, although the Evo is much better for the all season climate. Good luck and keep looking.

get the Evo, my buddy just spent his first winter with a stg2 (for the time being) STi in michigan and loved it. Im from OH, and had a blast as well, for the short time i was there this winter. aside from having fun in it, it really surprised me how well it managed in the snow and other crap weather. Handled great, stopped great, and got around with no problem what-so-ever...

yeah they tend to be a tank on the road, but throw a pro-charger with twin intercoolers, a cam, weaksauce, and some other little go-bits and you have a monster, and can still drive it on a daily basis if you need to (just not it crappy weather--i.e Michigan past late october....

It depends on what you are going to buy the car for.
If youre looking for a car around 500hp, fun to drive etc etc... hands down buy the evo.
IMO if youre looking for a car to build up around 800hp+ buy the cobra.
I would stay away from the GTO, its not a bad platform the other 2 are just better.
**note - Also if you plan on zero mods, the evo hands down (but who does that)
