i think i average 19-22 mpg but i think that might be due to driving . however I live in Ohio and don't get the mustang if you plan on driving it year round. plus you can't beat snow drifting in an evo it is the best.

Lol...these threads always make me smile. People come in asking about evo's vs. any other car. Like we are going to honestly tell them to get anything else. If you think the Evo is going to save you gas money, think again. We are lucky to get 19 mpg for the most part unless you spend all day on the highway. Maintenance is a bit more than on another car too (awd ftw!). Don't get me wrong, you should certainly get the evo, but make sure you get a chance to drive all of the cars mentioned first. That way you can make a decision based on what you think and not what we think. I have driven an 03 cobra and of course and Evo. The cobra is an awesome car, pulls like crazy and can put down some serious HP. In my opinion the Evo handles much better. Just my 3 cents!! Happy car hunting.
