B&M short throw shifter

Hey, I'm planning on buying my first evo this week..and I must say I'm pretty excited upgrading from my 350z. Well, the actual Evo I'm looking at/planning on buying is a couple hours away and I haven't got to test drive it yet..but yeah, as listed it already has a B&M short throw shifter on..and I was just wondering what you guys thought about it? I've driven stock evo's and I loved the stock shifter..and my brother has a B&M shifter in his Z06 and it feels pretty rough and not as smooth..I was just wondering if it'll be the same in the Evo? Thanks!

I had the un adjustable model on my evo and I loved the feel of it. Shortened up the throw considerable.

hey,

does anyone know the difference between the 45100 and the 45186? i've got an evo 7 (5spd) and am not sure what to get? i've been told mixed things that both will fit. but with the 45186, it looks adjustable? i would have thought it would be made specifically to one car, so why is it adjustable?

thanks

The 45100 is not adjustable, the 45186 is, same fit for both though.

I've driven both and even though I think the stock Evo shifter is pretty good, it does feel nice to have that shorter throw. It does have a more solid feel to it as well. I loved the stock shifter in my 350Z the most though, already felt like it had an aftermarket shifter in it.
