You can change the stud without pulling the hub. It's a little tight getting the studs in and out, but they do fit. The hard part is getting the new ones tight. You need an open nut and washers to pull it in. After you get it in you will want to check your lug nuts every time you drive the car to make sure they didn't pull in a little further during normal driving. If you are just 0.5mm short of getting it all the way in the lug nut will loosen.

Glad you found the issue, riding on 4 studs would be okay. 3 may be a safety problem, especially with a high powered car like an EVO.
As for the interior pic, your car looks fun to drive. =)

Culprit found!
This little guy, the head of the bolt was stuck between the rotor and the rotor head shield. Took that out, didn't even have to take off the rotors.... just kind bent the heat shield out of the way and yank that little guy out with some pliers and a flathead screwdriver.
Can't believe this tiny bastard can stop an Evo!
Yeah..... he's talking ****.
Above: Evo : 0 / Broken Head of Hub Bolt : 1
Yeah, I'm not running real hard on the Evo much. Its just going to and from work, which is like a 15 minute drive.
Gotta wait for parts to come in before I can fix this little..... issue. AGGGHHH!!!! BURN DA EVO!!!!1112223333

had the same thing happen to me but i wasnt lucky enough to have the stud snap. I couldnt take my wheel off because the stud would jsut spin so i had to saw it off using a saw blade and impact gun. I learned my lesson and now i drive around with a torque wrench all the time. btw you can get the new stud in from the back but you have to shave a small part of the head off to make it fit the angle its at. Shoot me a pm if you need me to explain better. gl
