how is it more sensitive? Like I said before "8500 x50" not a 8500 is better in k band. K band is easier to pick up and when a x50 or v1 picks up k band your in a safe distants so it really doesn't matter what picks it up first b.c they both do a good job doing it. KA on the other hand is harder to pick up and the v1 is better and quicker to pick that up than the x50. If your wondering why I haven't changed to a v1 well the x50 does it's job and is an excellent radar but the v1 is just better.

It's the same old tired debate. V1 users say theirs is better, X50 users say theirs is just as good and cost lest because who needs stupid arrows?
Arrows schmarrows....my common sense is worth a helluva lot more than some stupid arrows.

I have a V1, and have used other detectors (however, teh X50 is not one of them).
It's up to you to figure out if the arrows are worth it or not. To me they 100% are. I think they're one of the best features of the unit. The more info I have about where the cop is gunning from the better.

I am using a zr3 shifter and a passport 8500 and I havent gotten a ticket in a long time. The jammer works amazingly well (had my friend drive and speed through a speed trap) and it worked like a charm. Gotta love the look of frustration on the cops face when he cant get the speed of a noisy evo going fast.

Ive had a Valentine 1 for 2 years. It gets a little annoying when it goes off for banks and other business security systems through town(keeps you alert), but when it goes off on a rural road and a mile down the road i pass a cop, its well worth it. I cant compare to other radars since its the only one ive used, but i tend to speed a lot and havnt had one ticket yet.

And is this statement a product of personal comparison testing between the V1, X50, and other detectors finding the V1 to be superior to the others you tested? Or is this a personal opinion forged because the V1 is the radar detector you purchased and of course refuse to believe there is another detector that is as good as the one you spent your money on? As a fellow owner of a radar detector I would much like to see any data you have collected supporting the V1 to be the the higher quality product.

Lol..the cop will just pull u over and cite u for a list of mods u have. Most cops are nice they usually dont cite for mods and stuff. But if u **** u them off or irritate them then u'lll get a long list on ur ticket.

Now how does that make it any less comparable to the V1? Oh, I know...because it cost me a lot less!
