Jdm Evo 8?

Well i'm a straight up newbie, and was wondering if there really was a JDM EVO 8 ?? cuz i've been on evoimports and they have the JDM evo 8 with the AYC and ACD. I was wondering if anyone has gotten the JDM evo 8 from them or if there even is one. I'd appreciate any info i can get from this. Thanks

So then there is a JDM EVO 8 and it's not the UK version? because i heard that it would be a UK version that they're selling. And well i was just wondering cuz I really want a JDM EVO 8. and well if it's taking EVOIMPORTS so long i guess imma have to find another importer.

P.S. maybe it's just that they're doing all the cars and wanna send them all out at once? like not spend so much money on shipping one out at a time. shipment in mass quantities.

The JDM Evo 8 doesn't have real significant changes with that compared to the Evolution here in the states other than the emblem, rear lights and a few minor changes.

Hi,

I believe JDM EVO 8 GSR model have super AYC(better than EVO 7's AYC) and ACD plus 6 speed tranny, and RS model have 5 speed like we have here plus super AYC and ACD. The rear bumper and lights are different from USA's EVO.

Lights on the JDM Evolution VII are identical.
Emblems are nearly identical, but with different placement. EUROPE recieves the different emblems.

I wish everyone would stop saying Japan doesnt have these retarded altezzas like we do. THEY DO. THe JDM Lights people are buying are from EVO VII's, NOT JDM VIII's. I invite you people to take a little trip over to our car registry, click in EVOLUTION VIII GSR and browse until correctly educated.

Its the tranny (6-sp) and differentials (ACD + AYC) that are different, as well as the body work is MUCH less bulky and smoother at the rear while retaining the same EVO 8 style due to the different crash regulations in Japan.
