How stiff is a ACT Clutch compared to OEM?

Looking to get a new Clutch in the next 10,000 miles.....

I hear great things about ACT, how is the pedal compared to OEM? To me, the OEM Clutch pedal is alike a feather and doesn't bother me for one second.

I had the ACT street clutch on my 8 and the pedal effort is greater but not bad at all. I loved this clutch. After a couple of days driving I was used to the pedal feel and didn't notice it at all. When I traded my 8 for my 9 the first thing I thought was damn, this stock clutch is sloppy...

The ACT clutch is just a tad stiffer than stock. I had the Exedy twin plate before and that was softer than the ACT (almost OEM feel)

u'll only feel the difference for the first few miles. I grips better than stock so u'll be surprise at first but then u'll adjust and love it.

One of the best clutches I have ever driven.... stiff, but not too hard for everyday use, you get used to it relatively quick. Never tried the stock clutch, but it makes my buddies stock clutch in his STI seem juvenile and sloppy. ACT stage 2!

I love opinions with nothing to back them up.

I love my ACT XTSS. Pedal is much heavier than stock, but you do get used to it.
