Fuel Cut

I just put a turbo back exhaust and im runnin 21 psi of boost and at wide open throttle Im gettin fuel cut or some thing cause my car just jerks can some one help me please !!

Turn down your boost and get a tune.

but i turned down my boost to 15 psi and gettin the same thing.I need to get a tune though im gettin a ams base flash do u think that will help and maybe a walboro too?

Of course a base flash would fix your problem.

I would say do the supporting mods first before turning up the boost. A Walbro 255 is cheap insurance IMO. At less than a $100 and about two hours to install it is just a good idea.

Check your spark plugs... even without a tune you shouldn't be hitting fuel cut at such a low boost pressure.

I put ngk bpr7es spark plugs in there and the same thing but i think a walboro and a tune will do the trick thanks!

Two hours Josh? It took me 40 minutes. But I agree with you it is extremely cheaper than running lean.

did your check engine light come on? i had a bad tune on my car and it was doin the same thing but threw an overboost code one time. i took it to lucas english for a tune and never had the problem again. and yes my fuel pump is still stock, for the moment.

I agree with this! Especially since it is an Evo VIII. They have fairly weak stock FPs. It should take no time if you know what you're doing. Check HOW TO section.
