Normal for a shop. High because you can easily do it yourself.

Totally agree. I just changed my transmission fluid last weekend and it took me all of one hour. During that one hour I also rotated my tires and changed my engine oil while recalibrating my LC-1.

^ No you need a special tool if you want to change the ACD Fluid which you dont have. Basically it keeps the pump running to drain out the old while adding the new.

tc, trans, and rear diff changed normally. As easy as loosening any bolt

Its easy but you need a fluid pump (just a simple hand pump will do) to really make it quick and easy. I use bg synchro shift in the trans and diaqueen (mitsu) in the t-case. It takes me about 30min but I have a lift and a fluid pump.

Who needs a manual when you have EvoM? Look in the How To section and you will find what you need.

DIY, we have a bunch of how-to threads, you should check them out. Its really easy I did it myself it took about 30 minutes. Did it in the garage. I spent about 30 bucks on tranny fluid (Royal Purple)

I've used both Royal Purple in the past and currently have Redline MT90 in my transmission and much prefer the Redline.

contact oildoc for teh amsoil hookup. He ships FAST and cheap.

I recently put amsoil in my tranny and it made a huge difference. much smoother now.

I know when I get my car soon this will be one of the first things to do. So I see people are using royal purple, redline, and amsoil... So which one does everyone recommend the most? I don't mind paying a little more just want the tranny to be fine.
