man that's a really long drive....this is a good time to travel though. surprising enough i have seen a few cars on the highway with painters tape covering the front ends before. i always wondered what they were doing.

my TB VIII has seen alot of highway miles from OH to NC and back, OH to FL and so on and so forth, and the rock chips SUCK A$$!!! I would definately invest in a bra for it or clear-bra, but like you said, you dont have the time for that. Painters tape would look hilarious, but id do it. Like someone else said, keep a good distance from others, specifically trucks/semi's. Also, invest in some Motrin or tylenol for the back, and enjoy your trip

My cruise control is my right foot. As for preventing rock chips, i wish I would have invested in a clear bra. The painters tape is the way to go for your trip though. I have seen it done.
