Driving from Washington to Florida

Sup all. IX owner having to drive from Washington State to Florida in a few days.

I was concerned about rock chips on the fine tarmac black paint (heh)

I dunno if I wanna shell the cash to get a bra right now...

Would anyone recommend maybe tape the front of the car and fenders? Where else? What kind of tape could I use that wont mess up this **** paint we have?

Any help is appreciated - thanks

painter's tape is fine, and a driving tip, keep a long safety distance will help a lot too.

haha I was thinking about it, but that would take a long time.

I might write something on the side or on the back... but what?

Look into getting a 3M clear bra. It's definitely durable and is surprisingly transparent. But if you're leaving in a couple days, you might not have time to do it. And you'd probably want some one who's done it before to do it....

yeah no time for that - so I guess painters tape it is. You guys sure that will be safe for the paint, for like 5 days?

I drove 800 + miles yesterday and sampled the gas prices in several states.

My car has cruise. I wouldn't consider making the trip you are undertaking without it.
