could it be a bad fuel pump? i cant hear anything when the cars on acc... also... where are the relays for this? thnks

if you have fuel pressure then your pump is at least working enough to idle. if you take one of the injectors out or take one of the lines off, it should squirt out quickly from the pressure (assuming the car has been on recently).

Does the meth kit have a failsafe that is tripped and causing the problem? You should really talk to the previous owner / tuner who tuned the car if at all possible.


Has the car been sitting for a lengthy time before you purchased it? Gasoline does weird stuff when left sitting.

Im having the same(exact) prob with my VIII it's been at my local mechanic for two weeks, he still doesn't know the prob. He thinks it's the ECU but if he fixes mine before you fix your's ill let you know the prob so you can have an idea.

Make sure you check the coil packs. I had a similiar problem a couple of years ago. Also found water had worked it's way into the HKS DLI.

i think im getting enough fuel since the line going into the rail is pressurized and squirts fuel out, i have spark, the ecu lights are coming on and working.. the dli 2 has the red light on.. so i think thats working...also unplugged that to see if it to see if that was the problem and nothing... im running out of ideas.

wouldnt it start if it was that valve? i cant even get it to run long even when im giving it gas

Sounds like its too rich! When your "giving it gas" your actually giving it more air, which is why I think it runs alittle albeit rough. 1000cc injectors are no joke, thats almost twice stock size. My guess is there was an electrical hiccup and you lost your fuel maps. If you floor it @ start up it shuts injectors off (flood mode, maybe your stand alone doesnt have it) and turn it over and listen. And the little green light being on doesnt mean everything is hunky dorie with the ecu.

get your ecu checkout, make sure u still have the correct map still
