Summer plans- Wanna see what you guys think

Ok so I just bought my evo about a month ago. I am picky so I had the entire car repainted and had a OEM cf wing put on.

I did some reading on the beginner mods and from that I think where I want to start is with some basic bolt ons that can compliment other parts as I go. Basically want to keep progressing forward and be able to use the bolt ons in conjunction with the upgraded turbo and what not when I get to that.

I think I am just going to go with a better exhaust..was looking at the greddy evo 2 cat back.

I wanted the megan turbo manifold

Was going to upgrade the licp and the downpipe.

Also looking to get gauges and a wideband.

I figured after those bolt ons were installed with a nice tune and maybe turn the boost up a little bit that would be a good starting point.

I am going to be using my car as a street machine/taking it to the track and haulin ***.

I was thinkin maybe next year just drive it around and build a motor on the side so that everything is taken care of.

Any advice guys? I think I have a decent starting point but sometimes when I go back and look at all that I feel like im jumpin across the board a lot. I went from a 00 eclipse with very limited potential and little to no aftermarket to a car that has great potential to be a beast with a huge aftermarket demand and I am not gunna lie sometimes im just like **** where do I start or is this a waste of money or is this worth it.

Looks like a nice start. Only things I would modify on that list is the megan manifold which is junk (95% bound to crack), add some cams on there, an FMIC before the turbo upgrade, and maybe some meth? Port out the stock mani (many places here offer that for reasonable prices), and don't forget the O2 housing (ebay or ported stocker work best). Those are just my suggestions though.

EDIT: And your going to need a fuel pump as well. See quickly things rack up lol.

I came from a 3g too

Recommend the following

boost gauge
3" turbo back exhaust
Walbro fuel pump
IX diverter valve
cone filter / drop-in / or new OEM filter.
boost leak test
new spark plugs
Boost control (mbc or ECU controlled)
Custom tune on the stock ECU

Clutch that is applicable for your goals.

Next

Cams / valvetrain that is appropriate for the turbo your going to run,

and then of course turbo, fmic, injectors, piping, wg, manfold.

then built motor, bigger turbo, stand alone ECU, head work, you wont need suggestions if your here.

Why do you recommend upgrading intercooler piping after the tbe?

It's a used car, the plug condition may be unknown. Plus you should always change plugs before you tune a car.
