2.0 Turbo Evolution VIII FQ-300 Manual

Well it may come up for sale in 2005 here in the US. Although it is speculation but its fun to look at it even comes with optional leather seats.

Great car. Can't say I like leather seats in a car like a Evo. If I wanted leather I would have gotten a less serious car. Like a Lexus 300 or something....
But that is just me.

They are actually very nice seats. Only the grey part of the seat above is leather. The black interior part is alcentera and would hold you very still through the corners.

The back seats are also body colored leather and black alcentera, the Shifter boot also has Body colored leather.
It looks really nice.
BTW, what I mean by body colored leather is that only the silver cars have the seats exactly as shown above. Red cars have seats that are outlined in red leather ect...

FQ does mean ****ing quick. All the UK mags get a kick out of it. In one, they thought the new Evo would be "Fairly Quick", but then it smoked M3s, 911 Turbos, and Ferraris on the track so they accepted that it really is FQ...

So it's like 2000 British pounds more than the regular Evo and it changes how much? How much power improvement and what features are different? That link was just a bunch of specification lists but no simple explanation.

Supposedly it makes 300 hp and has stuff that our cars have stock (HIDs, etc.). The big change is a revised ECU and exhaust for 300hp. They are also coming out with an FQ-320 (ie 320 hp).

The FQ-300 is suppose to have many changes made to its structure to save weight. Instead of using aluminum, or steel, many parts were replaced with titanium and instead of plastic, Carbon Fiber was used. Mechanics-wise, the engine has a re-programed ECU, better engine management system, perhaps new cams and of course, a less restrictive exhaust.
