so i am driving home from work today around 9pm. its raining. my wiperblades suck. my usual route takes me past a forest preserve before i get onto the highway and then so on...
well today while driving past the forest preserve i get pulled over. no big deal, i prolly was going a little too fast.

i roll down my window and have my license and insurance out. And then i get this.

cop: "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR SPECIAL CUZ YOU OWN AN EVO?!?!"
me: "no. i do not think that.
cop: "SO JUST BECAUSE YOU OWN AN EVO YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT?!?!?"

i sat there silent.

cop: "DO YOU KNOW THAT 60 IS NOT THE SPEED LIMIT HERE? EVEN FOR EVOS!"

me: "i'm sorry, i wasn't really paying attention to my speed."

at this point i accept that i might have been speeding and therefore deserve a ticket, but not to be yelled at. the cop then takes my license and goes back to his car. not even 30sec. later he comes back and asks if i have any prior speeding tickets. i don't.

then just as a state trooper is pulling over to observe,

cop : "HERE IS YOUR ****, NOW TAKE YOUR EVO AND LEAVE!!!"
i grab my license and go.

i'm just shocked that he was such a dick to me just because i have an evo.

maybe he thought you had a special evo? lol

Probably he had a bad day. I dont know, but for some reason, cops hate sport cars, period. Last ticket I got was running a red light, at 30mph, but it was clearly still yellow when I passed the limit line. Any who, I got the fat ticket, and now I have to attend traffic school.

But you can report him, since on the ticket have his name and badge number, and maybe they can waive that ticket.

If not, that's actually pretty funny looking back on it, maybe he was just jealous... I mean what kind of cop knows its called "evo" instead of lancer blahblah.. seriously cops around here think I put nice wheels on a 4 door
