It'll help you if you're running hot, but it's not the kind of boost that you'll feel while driving. If you're moving and running warm, the evaporation will give the motor just a little extra kick. Run a search on IC spray. This has been covered several times, and a few good writeups are available.

It's not like a turbo boost button, or a NOS button, more a power recovery for when it's hot out. When it's warm, I turn mine on auto and it then reacts more like when it's not so warm out. It does help.

Since it’s been hot in my area during the last two weeks, I just set it to auto and keep the reservoir full. I’m not expecting a boost, just an equalizer.

Think of it this way. It'll help the car maintain it's power in the heat instead of losing power.

If it is on auto and you run out of the spray, does anyone know if it will shut itself off or will it continue to try and spray and burn out the motor??
