I am about to take a long trip in my evo ix. I wanted to protect my front bumper from rock chips etc.., can someone tell me anything about the clear bra spray? i heard about it but never see it on a car, is it safe to use, please let me know.

use painters tape. that's what i did, got alot of look from other drivers but it helps to prevent rock chips on long trips.

when you say painters tape, you mean the blue tape, correct? is that legal? i dont need any cop attention.

I assume your refering to the stuff made by duplicolor... I havent used it but it seems to work great... Painters tape looks like hell lol

does it come off easily? i need it for 2 days only. I can get that duplicolor in any auto shop store right? and yes i agree the tape looks like hell, and i dont know if it hold when it rains.

I use this stuff all the time. Try to post pics tonight...its great. Spray that I use comes out grey in color and is almost like spray paint except textured. It can be easily removed with high pressure water and soap. Use it where ever you'd use blue tape.

thats great, my car is graphite gray, so it will match. I'll look for it in the auto store this weekend.

Blue tape is the Best! Get the right kind.... their are a few different types.
