I noticed it, Also when I am rolling up all the windows at the same time and closing the sunroof. If I only do a pair at a time then close the roof afterwards, they close faster. It's because of the strain on the electrical system, I wish I could eliminate this but I don't want to buy another battery just yet.

Exactly what he said. Most all of Mitsubishis cars have speed sensing wipers. It is kind of a nice feature. I noticed it right away on my Evo and instantly remembered that my '87 Galant had them as well. It shouldn't have anything to do with any other electronics in the car.

yes its a designed to do that, when you go faster the rain hits your window more so they made the wipers speed up so you dont have to change it... not that big a deal

Speed sensing intermittent wiper. It works and I liked it.

Wish my Honda and Subaru has this feature as I keep on adjusting the intermittent wiper everytime I stop and go when its raining.
