old lady: o really, my son has the same car, and he put on a body kit on it, only difference is he painted his brakes yellow instead of red.

Few of my favorites.

Im sitting at the light in my town one day in the straight lane. Im about 8-10 cars back in the line. Well this kid in a base Civic pulls up beside me in the turn lane with his girlfriend in the car. So, turn arrow comes up for him. He lets all the cars infront of him goes, then proceeds to revv it up to do a burnout, revs up, dumps clutch.....STALLS IT! Im dying laughing! I then proceed to give him the thumbs up as his girlfriend is *****ing him out for embarrasing the **** out of him. Still has to be one of the best things that happened.

Then my mom, has no clue how fast my car is and HATES the thought of me racing it. Well me car is now at Buschur for a complete build. Now everytime I talk to her I get the: "For the amount of money your dumping into this damn little thing, you could have bought a nice, luxory sports car and put a down-payment on a nice house." Oh well, the evo is more fun and it will smoke almost any "nice sports car" for under $100K!

HAHA, oh the fun of owning an EVO!

After eating lunch, I drove back to the base and I pass my supervisor on the way. Later on once he sees me at work.
Supervisor: You need to slow down when you drive.
Me: What are you talking about?
Supervisor: When you kept taking off you'd chirp your tires.
Me: Um no, that was my bov.
Supervisor: What?
Me: Yeah my car's awd, that's the sound of the bov when I shift.

I was at the track last month with a few of my friends and the announcer called my friends evo a "dodge lancer" ... I'll never let him forget that.

Met up with my friend who has an '06 MR at my auto parts store and his friend who was with him.

His friend: Nice Evo man how much did the MR wheels cost you?
Me: Nothing they came stock on the car.
His friend: No they didn't, only MR's came with them.
Me: Uh no, this is a special edition Evo they came with BBS's too.
His friend: Dude I know what I'm talking about only MR's came with BBS's.
Me a little irritated: Its obvious you don't know what your talking about.

At this point my friend comes out who was looking around inside and his friend asked him to tell me I was wrong about the BBS wheels. My friend proceeded to call him a stupid moron and told him I was right and he was wrong. The look on his friends face made me forget all about being irritated. He's the type that thinks he knows everything and he was totally embarassed about being wrong.

Even though my car has been broken for months and is at buschur for a build, everyone at school still knows about my car because my nickname at school is "Evo". This kid in my class comes up to me today and goes:

Him: So you have the blue evo, right?
Me: Yea
Him: So is that things Turbo'd or Supercharged?
Me: Turbo'd, it has a huge 35R on it!
Him: So did they ever make those with superchargers?
Me: NO, Never!
Him: So when you get it back, how much hp?
Me: Hopefully mid 500s pump and high 500s on Meth
Him: Damn!

Then there is this kid that my GF goes to school with whos been talking ****. He has a 92 Camaro Z-28 with a built 305. He was recently at the Muncie, IN high school drags. Well he ran a 7.8 1/8 @85 mph. And claims it capable of Mid 14s and everyone in their town thinks his cars the fastest thing ever because its a muscle car! And hes talking **** about hes going to kick my *** and take my $$$! Thats probably one of the funniest just due to the fact that my car is getting the same build as the 2 Buschur cars that made 553 and 554 on Pump only. Oh well, I guess it will be easy money wether Im on Pump or Pump with Meth.
