autometer boost guages

so ive got 2 autometer guages and im trying to figure out why one would be so far off. with my pro comp ultra lite boost/vac guage i get a peak boost of 22-23psi. with my phantom boost guage with no vac, i get 28-29psi peak.. all i have for mods is the apexi power intake filter.
obviously the pro comp is correct, just curious though

any ideas on why this is happening? could the spring be junk in the phanton guage?

stewart warner makes some nice gauges that I personally use as well as a few buddies and have had nothing but great results

42draftdesigns.com

they are a vendor here that carries them...you will not be disappointed for the price and quality

if a boost gauge with vacuum in it does not sit at zero (0) when the car is turned off the gauge is broken. A vacuum/boost guage must rest at zero (0) when the car is off in order to it to read correctly

hence: prosport gauge 22psi
autometer 28psi

22+6=28

autometer is broke
