Code Reader "No Link"
I recently had a problem with my evo ix. Thread : https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=341816
During that process i got a check engine light. Dealer tried using their MUT to read the code but got no link. It's strange because their MUT was able to read the codes when i used to get check engine lights in the past.
I tried my code reader (which worked always before), but i get "NO LINK".
Car runs fine and everything is working 100%. I just can't get a code for that check engine. It keeps on saying "NO LINK" when i press read.
Has my ecu gone bad? Has this happened to anyone before? I searched and couldn't find anything

It could be the pins on the obdII port. However, i haven't touched the port for the check engine light to appear..only after i got the check engine, i tried to read the code and got NO LINK. I'll check the pins though just to be safe.
I have a stock battery
What else could it be?

Is your car modded? Still under warranty? Try a battery reset, sometimes that helps electrical gremlins. Disconnect the battery and put the negative and positive cables together for about a minute. ( battery completely disconnected.) Try again. You can have the dealer figure this out. Will cost you 1 hr of labor time at most.
