just looked at ebay and kbb.
my 06 evo IX with 15k mile is only $24k trade-in value. Still not bad for 2 year old car(paid 28.9)
I wonder how much I can get next year around March.(Iraq 15 months + 2 years of Korea tour) Seems like I'm wasting money on the car(high insurance rate too) when I dont even have time to drive it.

Thats a good sign that prices are going up. I have to sell mine. I have a 05 SSl with a few mods. Love the car just financially cant afford it right now.. Pm if you have questions.

Well, the Evo has the highest resale value for sedans, but who knows what could happen. The 240sx was a girl's car ten years ago, then the drift scene hit, and now it's hard to find a clean 89 240sx for under 3k and 91s sell for around $4500. It's a 20yr old car!
Trust me, give the Evo ten years, and the limited amount of them will go for good money. But who knows what could happen.
I have 117k on mine, so none of this matters to me. I'm enjoying the crap out of mine!

just to compair, i test drove a brand new X MR today. AMAZING CAR. i think the 8/9s are holding there value so well is because not many people can afford the new x. they wanted $42.500!!!! im sorry but if i was looking to spend that kind of money i would not be buying an evo. bmw 335i or e46 m3 with money left over
