thats what i like to hear i have 24K on the clock right now and I'm going to be buying a DD to park my baby in the garage
Who thinks that the potential value of an evo would be comparable to a supra?
Mine gets more valuable to me every day. Once the evo IX went out of production, that was the beginning of CT9As becoming a "rare" car in many parts of the country. Maybe not so much out west because they were saturated with Evos already. But the number of Evo VIIIs and IXs are only getting smaller with every totaled evo. I think if we give it a few years, low mileage Evo's are gonna go for good money.

I wouldn't go that far, Supras with low miles go for 60k give or take. I for one wouldn't sell my Evo unless I get more than what I payed for it. a used evo ever going for more than 40k is probably a long way off...

I am coming up on 12k but I only drive it when I want to, otherwise it stays covered (no garage) and I have kept it stock even though I have an exhaust manifold, S1 cams, fuel pump, Full TBE, Titek 02, ARP headstuds and none of it has been installed because I'm keeping it stock for now ... Plus an extra wingless trunk to fool the ricers and the folks (cops)...

Older evo's here in florida are rotting on the lots. I don't think many people are buying this type of sports car when the economy is so bad. I saw an evo 9 (really nice) black with 10k miles sit at my local mitsubishi for 2 months before they finally took it to the auctions.

Quit kidding yourselves. Price is going down and these things are hard to sell. Check out the classifieds here and tell all the guys trying to sell their cars for months how strong the market is.

Modded Evos are even harder to sell. One example: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=311582 . He's been trying to sell it since December for $23k. KBB is between $17.8-$20.5.
