Used 8 & 9 Evo Prices Rising

Those that purchased new will still lose money. Those of us that purchased almost new at a decent price will make out pretty good. I expect to lose about $2k a year driving my 9. However odds are it wont cost nearly that much. Some tuner cars just seem to hold their value. Older hondas and DSMs are selling for thousands above KBB pricing. Evo will more than likely be the same way especially because they are a better car. The platform is proven to be a 500hp capable all weather sexy as machine. The value isn't going dive bomb any time soon. All reasonably priced true performance cars hold their value.... RX7, 240, 300ZX, turbo eclipse/talon, NSX, bla bla bla. No worries here.
Lastly I'm not sure why people claim the evo is an expensive performance car. If I drive it gently I see 28-29mpg which is just as good as most econo cars. I would rather have 5mpg less and be in an EVO.

I think as long as we are in this economic slump cars are just not going to be sold for high prices, nobody will pay for them. If we ever get out of it then you might start to see cars like Evos values going up. But I'm not hoping for much with the way the econmy is right now, not to mention gas prices.
