Safe boost leve for a stock internal EVO 8

What would be the max boost safe level for a stock internals evo 8. Mods on the car are: Works drop in filter, Works TBE Catless, Walbro HPFP, MR DV, ECU Boost Control with GM 3 Port. All the engine internals are stock including the studs. This is a daily driver and not used at the track. This is assuming a good tune on 93 oct pump gas.

24-25 psi spike sounds reasonable with good parts combo.

I won't go pass 25 psi without the studs specially if it's a DD.

With a good tune, maxing out the stock turbo with factory head studs isn't an issue. You really dont need them. If u like wasting money I have them for sale for 200 shipped ;-p LOL

drive your car without fear of damage. Keep the knock under control and you have nothing to worry about.

Cheers!

Is the 23 PSI the peak/surge boost value I should set for or the steady state pressure? Setting a 23 steady state value will be like a 24-25 PSI overshoot.

Is that OK for a stock EVO? Or should I go for a 23 PSI overshoot with probably about a 21-22 PSI steady state? Th!anks for you help!

Go for the 25 peak as it will drop to 23. By the way, some people push 30 psi on the stock motor with no problems.

Again please specify if you are talking about overshoot or steady state. Or just state both.

its all in the tune. if you have a good tune than you really dont have anything to worry about. but for you i say around 23 psi is safe...with a good tune. Im tuned at 25psi on 93 octane for two years already. IVEYTUNE FTW !
