Selling my evo8 soon......

Just not sure what i should price it at.



And don't try to low ball me with BS..


I have ~9K miles on the car.


Mods are as follow:
HKS Type-0 turbo timmer
Greddy Type-S Bov
B&M Short shifter
RMR Intake
Falken Azenis Sport Tires


I know i will loose a few grand in equaty, but that is cool...

Just Moving on to other cars.. I have always been a rotary guy, so i will be finishing my RX-7 and picking up an RX-3.. i think i will also be picking up a 323 GTX for rally.

i was told that when you are sellin mods with your car price addition for aftermarket parts is Total cost/2= $$ addition to the cost of the car

Actually i was not even gonna add the price of the mods.. they are small...


Maybe take into account it has good rubber though..

Yellow, sunroof and wing.. no damage. There are a few rock chips but i will get those taken care of before selling.

Abuse? none.. i have auto-x-ed it and one rally-x..


Never boosted cold, always warmed up & turbo timed. Oil changed ever 2500 miles or before with mobil one. have all recipts..

i dont mean to be a dick but i would guess around $24-26 K for the evo.

Actually that is around where i was guessing.. but on the higher side of that since i have all the recipts and a few mods and new tires..

I would say 25-26k I got my car new for 28k so I think 2-3k less is worth it. Also you should of replaced the tires with the ones that came on it. Also take off the aftermarket stuff and sell it and sell the car stock. Stock car will bring more money.

In this area it is next to impossible to get one out the door for under 31K with those options.

And as for the mods, i can return it to stock, but i imagine anyone buy this will want the ones i have.


As for tires, no way in hell i am gonna pay $320/tire (i know tire rack now has them for ~200+)

I bought mine new for 29500 (carbon fiber spoiler, no moon roof) plus tax and liscense but the next one sold by the same dealer went for 5k over which is what they are asking for the third one on their lot. Given that they are also selling the Eclipise spyder for 30 plus 2 thou added mark up it seems like the market is very good right now. The economy in the area I live in is not hot. Why not shoot high and go for what a lendor will lend on it plus a couple of thou. it isn't like they easy to get.
