Doc
I have no opinion on AMSOIL as Iv never used it but I always liked Quaker State Q and found that when I have my 03 Lancer OZ it ran much better on Q then on Mobile 1 and RP. Anyone else have any experience with Q I should know about cause I was planing on using it in my Evo whe nI buy it.

No test data available for Q that I am aware of.. Not even from Pennz/Quaker ...

It's like a big secret... Couldn't Find any Technical Data Sheets or MSDS..

Com'n Doc you know as well I do it has to have a MSDS. It does suck though! If you aren't running Mobil1 then go Amsoil.

Yep, by law they have to have the MSDS available, but it doen't mean it has to be online...

I just think Q is a Hydro-Cracked Product, so the Jury is still out...

Probably a more correct statement, not only for you, but others as well, would be. "I haven't had any Noticeable Problems)" Without trend analysis, there is no way of knowing short of doing a Certified teardown at specified mileages to see if there is any excessive or abnormal wear. So I continue to use the known Leader in the Industry.

Doc, I understand the paper results but I stand by Redline MT90 and so does Shep and many others that have really put the oils to the test per say! If it works for them it works for me. I can tell you first hand it minimized the metal coming out of my gearbox and took care of my crunchy shifts. If Amsoil could of done that too then thats good also. Its all what the user wants and one day I will give you guys a try untill then I will continue to stand by Redline gear oils. Race proven, street driven.
