1$ For 1Quart (Royal Purple)
Well guys I just went to Autozone and bought 5 quarts of (RP) and a MOBIL 1 Oil filter for 15$.... I was like WDF? Usually I pay like 50-60$ The guy said that theres a sale on (RP) So I came home and thought about it..... 1$ for a 7$ quart of oil. I ran back to Autozone and bought 5 more quarts for exactly $5.20. Its funny cause I was gonna get mobil 1 but I saw only one 4 quart jug so I got the (RP). 10w30 BTW

I have worked in the auto parts industry for years and my customers either like RP or hate it. Most people say it degrades too fast and turbo motors are especially hard on it. My buddy just ran it in his turbo porsche and it was done in less than 2,000 miles. He's trying Amsoil next time.

I love it that you called me out...
Let's see, 3 SR20DET engines blew up on RP from that ****ty oil degrading too quickly. Bearings didn't like it, rod knock ensued and rod said hello to the radiator... It's a good oil when new but goes quickly downhill after only a few miles.
Secondly, 2 friends lost motors to RP as well as they were road tracked cars.
I could go on for days about this stuff, but you seemed to have formed your own opinion on it. I'll continue to try and sway people away from it as much as possible...
Good luck!
