8000K HID Replacement bulbs
I purchased a set of 8000K Deep Blue HID bulbs to replace the factory bulbs. I was going to swap them out until the Mitsu dealer told me they would burn up my wiring harness (there are two harnesess at $150.00 each).
He said the 8000K bulbs pull too much current. Has someone worked around this? Has someone installed a pair wo/problems? Appreciate your input.

The dealer is telling you that so you will purchase new bulbs from them at $200 a piece. You will be fine. There are lots of threads on here where people are running 8k Hids.

You'll be fine. Looking forward to pics. Be aware that you'll be reducing output and limiting your sight at night with those bulbs though. A friend of mine had them on his Evo and it was fine for the most part. Just FYI.
