Sorry but blindspots are not part of any equation when it comes to time attack.

Every serious road race, rally, or time attack car has those gussets on those sections of cage, it adds a lot of strength and rigidity.

NASCAR spoters FTW

Scorke hit the nail on the head, this is a key place that needs to be gusseted. Besides think about this, how are you going to check that blind spot with a full race seat? Maybe even a HANS device.

Negative, I dont see it happening, if your that worried about a blind spot, get a bubble mirror.

Look at the front strut towers. Look at how dramatically re shaped/moved they are compared to a stock car's.

The HKS evo and AMS TA1 have pretty radically moved ones too IIRC, it alloows you to move the suspension so you have static geometry that is much more favorable than the stock chassis.

Those "secret" pictures are as bad as the spy video of AEM's new intake for the X.

Haha I wish I could say your right I just love evo's that are built for doing for what they do best, which is also the reason why I show so much love for vendors/shops that road race their evo's.

As capable as they are as drag, autocross, and rally cars, their is no other arena besides the roadcourse where such a low priced car can embarras cars of 4-5 times the cost with such little modifications.

You get it too! heres a brew for ya!
