Time Attack Car Pictures Leaked!!!!
I recently came accross this car and was asked not to take any pictures but I couldn't help myself so I quickly took a few while no one was around. I figured out it was an evo and they told that it would be running in the Time Attack Series. Anybody know what that is because I've never heard of it before? I thought some of the stuff they were doing was really interesting and I thought I'd share the few pics that I took.

Depending on where the base plate is located in the car, the A-pillar of the cage fits the car really well by the looks of it. If you're expecting the cage to fit every line of the car then your cage will have no strength what so ever. Also if you look at most cages done professionally, in the racing industry, there are multiple gussets. Gussets are a essential part of the roll cage because the help to tie in the cage to the rest of the car which makes it more durable. Also if your staring at the nose of your car the gussets may bug you but if your staring at the nose of your car while driving you shouldn't be driving at all. It's called looking ahead people!! Plus it only looks like they maybe stick out from the stock pilar 3-4 inches.

have driven quite a few different cars with cages, and when your gussest get that big; you will have a blind spot.
your statement is fairly accurate, but to increase visibility I would have gone with a tighter fit and an extra cripple bar from the halo to floor.
these are my opinions, as always your mileage may vary.
