hey

I have my evo viii.when I first got it,it was starting to spool right before 3000,like at 2800.now,its hitting at around 3200,and it feels like its boosting very low.

this happened after I wet my turbo with water because radiator fluid got on it.but some people said it wasn't the problem.could this be a messed up bov?its the stock plastic.any ideas?thanks!

 

how much boost are you getting?

 

Are all of you IC pipes connected and sealed properly? Do a boost leak test. Do you have a boost gauge?

 

I don't have a gauge,but it should be boosting stock,like 19 psi?I can here the turbo spooling but its spooling slow.how do I perform a boost leak test?

Search boost leak test. Your will then be enlightened

 

could the plastic BOV be the culprit?
