Phenix tuned- IX GSR, 403WHP/477WTQ- Stock Turbo

Mods:

Fujitsu Intake and Pipe Kit
Forge WGA
BPMC Intercooler
Walbro FP
Forge MBC
Cosworth M2 Cams
ARP Head Studs
Fidanza Cam Gear Exhaust
Megan Exhaust Manifold
Megan o2 Housing
Greddy Ti-C Exhaust
Megan DP
AEM Meth kit 100% Mixture
Stock Block
Stock Head
Stock Clutch
Stock Maf
Phenix Tuned

Car is midly tuned since I have no Safeguards for the meth system. AFRs are 10.9-11.2 AFR's in 4th Gear @32PSI. I rather keep it safe. First run was in 3rd gear and did 403WHP/438WTQ 11.3-11.5 AFRs @ 31PSI. Then did a 4th gear pull and made 400WHP/477WTQ. All runs 0 knock period. As soon as I get my safe guards in, im definetly gonna open it up more.

I want to thank Phenix for the awesome tune and also TTP for facilitating the dyno session on their grand opening dyno day. It really is a great facility.

Data Sheet: As you can see an unbelivable TQ spike.

Strong numbers Jonathan! Both in 3rd gear and in 4th. I cant wait to see the car once it has all of the safe guards in place. Should be more of a beast that what it is right now.

I heard dynoing in 4th was actually easier on the car. Im guessing its due to the ratio in 4th. Maybe a dyno shop could chime in here

It's my understanding that it's best to dyno in 4th because it is the closest gear to 1:1.

Depends on the car 99% of the time its either 3rd or 4th gear. 1:1 ratio is what you want. Oh and I noticed your not running ARP head studs. Does that concern you at 32psi?

Last time I checked we were one and I own the dyno according to the dynosheet.

I find it kind of funny that you call the tune "Mildly tuned" runnig 32 psi on stock turbo.

Really good #'s, That torque has got to feel awesome.

I'm not no tuner but I think there is more to a tune than just a boost level, such as AFR and Timing.

4th is closer to 1:1, but the pull is much longer, and it causes different results than in 3rd due to more load. The standard is 3rd, so if people are making a habit of doing it in 4th, they are going to see different numbers than the rest of the community. It would be a convenient way of getting consistently higher numbers than others.

Yeah, 32psi is HUGEEEEE boost. The tune may not be on the ragged edge, but the boost is already far beyond the norm. I hope it doesn't get too much faster - it's already got crazy power. It makes my 325 look weak.

Of course I know your a Dyno facility and undoubtably one of the best in our buisness judging soley by your excellent feedback rating and caliber of cars coming out of your shop.

I just wasnt sure if you were going to check the thread again so instead of saying TTP should chime in again. I just blanketed it saying a dyno facility can chime in and post why dynoing in 4th is not an issue
