it wasn't to long ago you'd get a mail in tune. no respect to afr other than to keep it RICH and throw in some timing, kill the boost cut, and a few other things... and that was the hot setup for the track.
no kidding.

so all you guys worried about the perfect tune, yeah its smart but hardly the end of the world.

just goes to show how as we learn we refine, where ***** and gumption ruled now its pocket calculators and pocket protectors.

Is it safe for me to run the car on track untuned with the above mods, if I keep the boost no more than 15psi ? Time is the problem, not $$ .. Just don't have it to drive to the tuner.
I see some mods in there that will make your car run lean enough that your stock ECU can't adjust for. You say you don't have the time to get it mapped? If you'd rather error on the side of being safe, spend the day going to a tuner instead of going to the track. This time of the year, there are plenty of track days, and another will come along soon enough.

I have almost the same modds as u minus the intercooler and MBC... i just ran at the track without a problem.. just run stock boost and you;ll be fine... only thing your going to hurt is your clutch.. my stock one couldnt handle the power.. was slippin off the line.. best 60 i could get was 1.8 after i let it cool a lil.. most were 1.9 even a 2.0..
sooo all in all your good.. i also just ran 93 oct..
