Question Wideband wire too short. Will it affect the reading if I splice the wire?HELP!

Wideband wire too short. Will it affect the reading if I splice the wire to make it longer?

Exhaust shop is charging me 75 bucks to weld plus I have to buy the bung.

Thats why I thought about splicing the wire near the sensor to make it longer.

UEGO? You should be fine just sodder and heat shrink the wires. Stay with the same gauge wire, and you should be good.

And $75 is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much unless they're pulling the downpipe, then thats a bit of labor.

Going price is 30-40 to weld the bung....

Cheers!
