So my dad decided to borrow the Evo
#31
My dad loved the evo and could not believe what it could do in stock form, my mom on the other hand always made sure her seat belt was locked and she always had her hand on the side oh shoot handle, everytime we went around a corner I heard you are going to roll the car. Then one day she had to drive my car to pick me up from the airport and when she pulled up she was smiling from ear to ear, i asked her what was so fun and see said all the looks that she got driving my car. Just imaging a 55 year old mom driving a evo. Funny huh

My Dad used to build and race cars in his youth (rebuilt a Jag XKE that he used to get up to top speed across Hilton Head Island ) and he took a ride in it recently with the FP Green cams, etc and loved it. When I 1st got the car and my Mom took it for a spin she got it up to 15psi in 2nd gear and it scared the crap out of her .
My Grandpa drove my old SR20'd 240sx and everytime he stepped on the gas a smile would grow with the boost and then disappear everytime it blew off .

my dad quit talking to me for 2 months over me buying my evo. i wanted him to drive it one night so i faked like there was a problem and wanted him to test it and now i can't keep him out of it. and my mom steals it too when i'm home... they love it!

My dad is 55 and he loves my Evo. Everytime we hang out he asks to drive it. It's no monster, just basic bolt-ons but it's plenty fast for him. I even convinced him to launch it once. It scared the CRAP out of him....haha.

So does mine he either wants that or a 335i but he will stick with his IX MR for now. He wanted an STi and test drove one and was dead set on getting one, but when I went to go get my Evo from the dealer he test drove the MR and we both left with Evos that day.

my mother hates mine because it rides rough... my father rides with me but is " afraid of it " this coming from a guy who was a cop 30 years ago and had many high speed chases over 130 mph. I guess when you can get there a little faster it's a little more scary though lol.

my dad is 73, but turbo is in his blood.
he used to race motorcycles, and owned a Turbo Buick for a few years.
sometimes i think he loves my car more then i do. He recently hung out with me and my friends at the last import wars!
